my friend, chris drove up to my place and we ventured to some local spots i’ve been to before. naturally, i love abandoned places and our first stop was a old house in santa margarita. the best part of this house, is the blue door.

the blue door was on the floor inside the house, but i figured with the colors and light outside it would look rad in the frame. i shot the above image, with my 50mm 1.4 lens (canon). about 30 minutes into being on the abandoned property, a pg&e truck rolls up on the highway and stops. at first, the guy gets out and stands…my guess looking for movement or vandals or druggies. after chris attempted to have a few staring contests through the bush/trees, we gave up and walked back to the truck.

“did you know that this is private property” – pg&e (or so he said, owner of the property)

“ok…” – chris

giant pause

“do you need to tell us something, or…” – chris

the guy didn’t really say anything back and i’m pretty sure when we left, he was probably kicking himself about how retarded he handled the situation.

my favorite shot of the day, and the background is an awesome royal crown coca cola ad (above)

i’ve never taken a shot like this before! the two semi-truck trailers were sitting in a field next to a spot and this was the last shot i took of the day.

I'm definitely human, not a robot. I am not controlled by the population. I'm from Los Angeles but didn't like it there. I'm now on the Central Coast, my residency shall be unknown. I'm a photographer but you think you're better. I sneak into places with my camera. I make stencils but not for you ... maybe. I shoot what my eyes see. I make friends with aliens. If you are in front of me, you are going to be shot. If you are torn down or abandoned, I will find you. I will try not to break your heart.
